Terms of Service

1. Definitions

"Client" means you, the person or business purchasing services. "CloudLaunch Ltd" means the service provider. "Services" means web design, development, e-commerce, hosting, SEO, and support. "Deliverables" means the completed website or digital product.

2. Scope of Work & Payments

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins
• Final payment is due upon completion, before launch or asset transfer
• Project scope, timelines, and costs are agreed in writing beforehand
• Late payments may result in suspension or additional fees

3. Client Responsibilities

• You must supply required materials (content, images, logos) promptly
• Content delays may extend timelines or increase costs
• You confirm all materials are owned by you or properly licensed

4. Revisions & Approval

• You have 7 calendar days to request changes after notification of completion
• Absence of feedback within this period constitutes automatic approval
• Extensive revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges
• We are not responsible for delays caused by client non-compliance

5. Website Types Offered

Business & portfolio websites, e-commerce (Shopify), single-page websites, bespoke web applications, redesigns, and new builds.

6. Hosting, Support & Maintenance

Hosting and maintenance plans are available separately and are not included by default. Support covers security updates, backups, minor edits, and technical help. Without an active support plan, you are responsible for ongoing site management.

7. SEO & Performance

All websites are optimised for speed and search visibility using best practices. However, we cannot guarantee specific rankings or search engine placement due to factors outside our control.

8. Domain Names

Domains registered on your behalf will have ownership transferred upon full payment. We are not liable for domain availability, renewals, or registrar disputes.

9. Acceptable Use

You may not use your website for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes. We reserve the right to suspend access to content that violates UK law or adversely affects server performance. Fair usage policies apply to basic hosting plans.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate with 30 days' written notice. Deposits are non-refundable. All completed work must be invoiced and paid before assets are released.

11. Intellectual Property & Credits

Upon final payment, you own the website content and design rights. CloudLaunch reserves the right to display completed work in its portfolio. A discreet footer credit may appear unless otherwise negotiated.

12. Liability

CloudLaunch is not liable for indirect losses including business interruption or lost income. Maximum liability is capped at the amounts paid for the specific services related to the claim.

13. Service Interruptions

We strive for maximum uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be carried out with reasonable notice.

14. Amendments

CloudLaunch may update these terms at any time. The current version will always be published on this page.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in UK courts.
